The Alford Land Trust is a nonprofit membership organization founded to protect significant natural, agricultural, and scenic resources; and to promote and encourage land stewardship for the benefit of the environment, the economy, and future generations.

Through donations, volunteer work, and participation in programs and activities, members of the Alford Land Trust help ensure Alford preserves its rural character and scenic vistas. We improve land stewardship by increasing awareness of the connection between land use decisions and quality of life. We preserve natural resources and open space, farms and forests, wetlands and watersheds, historic landscapes and structures.
