Bear Mountain, located in Mount Riga State Park, is the tallest mountain in the state of Connecticut. It is a popular hike in Connecticut, and gives easy access to the Appalachian Trail. It offers great views of New York, Massachussetts, and Connecticut. A grand stone pyramid crowns its summit, offering unrestricted views which include broad valleys, shimmering lakes, and rugged mountains in three different states.
