Hike with BNRC and learn about High Road Project connections in and around Richmond
Difficulty: Moderate (easy pace, moderate elevation change)
Description: We’ll wind our way to the uppermost field and back, enjoying the 2 miles of trail! Along the way we’ll stop to discuss High Road connections in the works. The High Road is BNRC’s vision to connect conservation land and trails to towns. To learn more visit https://www.bnrc.org/the-high-road/.
Please bring water, wear sturdy footwear (weather dependent: consider snowshoes or micro-spikes) and appropriate layers of clothing.
Directions: From Great Barrington: Take Route 41 north into Richmond. After passing Route 295, Perry Peak Road will be the next left approximately one mile down the road. On Perry Peak Road, find the parking at the second red barn on the left, with a BNRC sign by the road. Please no parking directly on Perry’s Peak Road.
From Pittsfield: Get on West Housatonic Street (Route 20) heading west. Turn left onto Route 41 just before Hancock Shaker Village. After 2.5 miles turn right onto Perry Peak Road. Parking is signed, second red barn on the left. Please no parking directly on Perry’s Peak Road.
