Lenox, MA–Housatonic River Evening Paddle with Pleasant Valley Audubon staff

Evening is the perfect time to look for wildlife. We’ll leisurely explore the rich wetlands of the Housatonic Valley Wildlife Management Area in the hours before dusk, find a cove to come together in, and enjoy light refreshments while listening and watching for wildlife. Kingfishers, herons, muskrats, beavers, and other wildlife are all possible sightings.

Instructions and Directions: All participants must know how to swim. Bring insect repellent. We’ll provide snacks and beverages.

PLEASE NOTE: This program will be conducted in accordance with current Municipal, State, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols. Groups are limited to 11 preregistered participants, we cannot accommodate walk-ins. Participants are required to wear a face covering and follow social distancing guidelines. A detailed confirmation letter will be emailed 24 hours before the program.
